Chris McDonough, PhD, SDA, BCBA-D
Chris has amassed a diverse range of experience over an 18 year career, from group home manager, to public school special education teacher, to home-based early intervention provider, to President of a large regional social service agency. He holds a PhD in Behavior Analysis and a MA in Behavior Disorders from Columbia University and a BA in Philosophy & Religion from Boston University. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with permanent NYS certification in Special Education, School Administration/Supervision and School District Administration. He formed BANY in 2006.
Susan Silvestri, PhD SAS, BCBA-D
Over the last 14 years, Susan has worked as a teacher and school administrator at some premier behaviorally-oriended schools for children with autism and related developmental disabilities, including three years at the New England Center for Children. She has been a consultant to local school districts and families since 2006. Susan holds a PhD in Special Education from The Ohio State University, a MA in Behavior Disorders from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from Smith College. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with permanent NYS certification in Special Education and School Administration/Supervision. She joined BANY in 2008.
